Middle Georgia Market Update | May 2023
🍑 Overall the Middle Georgia market is strong. Inventory numbers are down driving multiple offers. The average number of days a home stays on the market has risen and the number of sales is down due to the lower inventory of homes available. We do believe there are many people not wanting to sell in the spring/summer market that are sitting on a refinanced low rate, or bought a home when the rates were low.
➕ Houston County continues to increase the average value. Homes have a longer list period but inventory is down significantly which is driving demand despite interest rates.
📈 The market numbers show the increased value in homes in Bibb County; a very similar pattern to Houston County.
